If you’re attracted to the personal and environmental benefits of green living, it’s time to investigate home and office water delivery. Billions of single-serve water bottles are sold each year, resulting in enormous piles of landfill plastic. Home water delivery supplies a fresh, healthy alternative to tap water and bottled water—without contributing to excessive plastic waste.

Water Delivery Services: The Obvious Advantages

In addition to preventing the wasteful use of disposable plastic water bottles, home and office water delivery offers customers other ways of impacting the environment and influencing their health. Consider the following benefits:

Reduce, recycle, reuse: When you receive home water delivery, your three- to five-gallon plastic bottle won’t end up in the landfill. Instead, reputable water services will sanitize and reuse your water bottle to ensure a lengthy life expectancy.

Bottle-free options: Many office water delivery services offer jug-free water coolers that plumb into existing water lines, filtering water without the need for bottles. In addition to avoiding plastic waste, these systems prevent home and business owners from having to store and handle large, heavy water jugs.

Reducing your carbon footprint: When you order home or office water delivery from a local distributor, you’ll reduce the transportation costs and negative environmental impact caused by trucking bottled water from several cities—or states—away.

Contaminant-free drinking source: If you dislike the taste and smell of your tap water or are concerned about the presence of pollutants, home water delivery is a safe, contaminant-free drinking option. And as a bonus—when you sign up for office delivery, you’ll provide employees with a healthy, on-site alternative to sodas and other sugary drinks.

Find a Local Water Delivery Service

Many people don't care for (or are worried about contaminants in) their local tap water. As a result, the bottled water industry is huge. We encourage you to explore your options for a safe, environmentally friendly water solution with your local Culligan Dealer!

“Drink 8 glasses of water each day” is what we hear all the time but what weight loss benefits do we get from drinking water?

All functions within the body require the presence of water. A well hydrated body enables these functions to occur quickly and efficiently. All chemical processes involve energy metabolism and drinking plenty of water will make us feel more energetic and boost our metabolic rate.

Water makes your metabolism burn calories 3% faster.

Drinking water is important if you’re trying to lose weight, some studies have shown that thirst and hunger sensations are triggered together. If there is a slight dehydration the thirst mechanism may be mistaken for hunger and one may eat when the body is actually craving fluid. As most food contains some water, if one doesn’t drink much they may be subconsciously driven to eat more to gain the necessary water supply however, you also gain the undesired effects of increased calorie consumption. Drinking more water can help to prevent overeating and benefit weight loss.

Many people don’t care for (or are worried about contaminants in) their local tap water. As a result, the bottled water industry is huge. We encourage you to explore your options for a safe, environmentally friendly water solution with your local Culligan Dealer!

Winnipeggers are holding their noses yet again to fend off the distinctive musty smell and taste that often plague the city's tap water in the summer.

An article from last summer at cbc.ca outlines some common problems Winnipeg residenta have with their drinking water.

Winnipeggers are holding their noses yet again to fend off the distinctive musty smell and taste that often plague the city’s tap water in the summer.

Winnipeg’s water has an odd taste for a few weeks almost every year due to seasonal algae growth in Shoal Lake, a 227-square-kilometre lake on the Manitoba-Ontario border that provides Winnipeg’s drinking water.

Despite its unpleasant taste and smell, Winnipeg tap water is still safe to drink, says Winnipeg Regional Health Authority’s medical officer of health. Tap water is routinely tested during the summer season for substances produced by algae.

If you, like many consumers, are interested in improving the quality of the water in your home, you should contact your local Culligan Man!

Stewart Water Conditioning has been serving the Winnipeg, Manitoba area for years – and can provide you with anything from bottled water to whole home water treatment systems!

You can check out their contact information here.

Good, clean drinking water is essential to everyone’s health. Nutritionists recommend you drink at least eight glasses of water a day. A Culligan reverse osmosis system provides a smart, convenient way to make sure your family is getting the amount, and quality of water they need. In fact, many families find that with delicious Culligan water at home their kids drink fewer sugary soft drinks.
